Three Clamour campaigns shortlisted this autumn

Work for Maison Ombre, Fondation Clair and Musée des Docks made this year's shortlists. Here's what each one set out to do.

Three of this year’s campaigns are on the autumn shortlists of the Trophées Rumeur, and we’re proud of all three for different reasons.

The Night Garden, for Maison Ombre

Shortlisted for Experiential. Three candlelit nights in a disused greenhouse, 42 articles in the first week and a waiting list for a fourth night we hadn’t planned. The jury notes mention the restraint: no stage, no speeches, just the garden.

Read Aloud, for Fondation Clair

Shortlisted for Social. We asked parents to film themselves reading one page of a favourite book at bedtime. 64 creators started it, and more than 9,000 families joined in. Library sign-ups in the partner branches doubled over the campaign.

Open Late, for Musée des Docks

Shortlisted for Culture. Twenty-six sold-out evening openings turned a quiet museum into a Friday-night plan. After four months, evening visits overtook daytime ones, and 38% of guests were first-time visitors.

Winners are announced in November. Whatever happens, the credit belongs to the clients who said yes to ideas that sounded odd in the first meeting, and to the producers, creators and journalists who made them work.
